Born in a traditional family in Delhi, Ruchi Gupta grew up in a close-knit environment with her two brothers and one sister. Her father, a businessman, instilled strong values of determination, resilience, and ethical conduct. With a natural inclination towards finance, Ruchi pursued the prestigious Chartered Accountancy course, becoming a CA at the young age of 22 in 2008. She completed her articleship with Deloitte (Big 4), gaining rich corporate exposure at an early stage of her career.
Marriage brought a new beginning in Jaipur, where she entered an open-minded and supportive family. Her husband, also a Chartered Accountant and a corporate leader, stood as her pillar of strength. She spent eight years in a Global MNC, excelling in the Finance & Reporting domain before taking a bold step into independent practice—a field where she had no family background.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Starting her own CA practice was a challenge—building a client base, setting up operations, and learning new domains from scratch. She initially focused on GST consultancy, but just as her practice gained momentum, COVID-19 struck, bringing a sudden drop in prospective clients. Left with idle time, instead of giving up, she chose growth.
She immersed herself in learning taxation and finance deeper and one day, a thought sparked: “Why not share my knowledge with the world?” Thus, her YouTube journey began. She started discussing GST provisions, taxation updates, finance laws, and business insights. Slowly, her videos gained traction, her content reached thousands, and her credibility soared. Post-pandemic, she expanded her practice to Business Consulting & Stabilization, helping businesses regain financial footing.
Breaking Barriers & Entering ICAI Leadership
“If you don’t see the representation, become the representation!”
While networking with professionals at ICAI Jaipur Branch, she realized a gap in industry professionals’ participation in the Institute’s activities. She also noticed an alarming lack of female representation in Jaipur’s ICAI leadership—there had been no female committee member in 11 years.
With courage and conviction, she contested the ICAI Jaipur Branch elections and, with immense support, won—becoming a Management Committee Member. She later served as Secretary of the ICAI Jaipur Branch (2022-23) and then Treasurer of the ICAI Jaipur Branch (2023-25) making significant contributions in bridging industry-academic gaps, empowering women in the CA profession and fostering practicing Chartered Accountants to develop Specialization.

- First-ever CA Women’s Conference in Jaipur, attended by 300+ women Chartered Accountants, with Former CM Smt. Vasundhara Raje acknowledging its significance.

- Convocation for 3,000+ newly qualified Chartered Accountants, celebrating their journey on a grand scale.
- First-ever Women’s Residential Refresher Course, bringing 50+ women CAs together for training, networking, and empowerment in Himachal Pradesh.

After three impactful years at ICAI Jaipur, she contested the Regional Council elections for ICAI Central India (CIRC) and won with the highest votes from Rajasthan, becoming the first woman from Rajasthan to achieve this milestone.
